Right at the corner is a slopy sandy rounded
plateau-like formation up to 35 meters where we can see the Eel Garden.In
this 35 meters depth starts the straight drop-off that goes down to 70 meters
which is fully-covered with soft three corals,gorgonian seafans,basket sponges
and so as with fusiliers and rainbow runners,blue tang,moorish idols,bannerfishes,triggerfishes
jacksfish,batfish and surgeon fishes.Occasionally with barracudas and hammerhead
sharks.Gray reef sharks, turles and a meter long napoleon wrasse are also
spotted in this site.An excellent dive especially with current in one direction
and with 30 meter visibililty. Novice divers should limit depth.
Talisay Point or The Barracuda Point is in the northern part of Cabilao
Island .It has good corals covering the reef top and so as with the wall.The
current here is mostly going to west direction.The ledge starts at 5 meters
in the beginning of the dive and turns to 16 to 22 meters before the end
of the dive.Gorgonian sea fans, barrel sponges ,tube sponges,yellow elephant
ear sponges are scattered in the area.Lots of moorish idols,banner fishes,fusiliers
and rainbow runners.Before the end of the dive there are batfishes and medium
size jackfishes in the place where the big barracudas found.(there are 162
big barracudas in this site)Doing the safety stop you can enjoy watching
the small tropical fishes like damsels,.lionfishes and seargeant majors.Turtles
are also found close to area of barracudas.Yellow frogfish enjoying its
life at yellow elephant ear sponges.A lone large size pufferfish will try
to guide the divers at start of the dive until the safety stop area.| Fill
