Not only this one,some more skills will be learn like how to breath using the scuba equipment ,equalization techniques,mask clearing,regulator clearing, regulator recovery and some of the very important hand signals to be use underwater.If you use your forefinger pointing upward,it does not mean going up in scuba diving hand signals.It means that you found something uncommon near the surface.Going up or if you like to ascent,use your thumb pointing upward with the other fingers close, then the dive instructor will bring you up.Do not use your thumb finger pointing up if you feel that the dive is excellent because it means going up then you will finish your dive shortly.The very important rule in scuba diving is breath continously and never ever hold your breath.Note this not a licence course.
