The dive hood is use to protect a diver's head from the unexpected and unintenional hit by other divers or something.It is also use to protect the head from chilly diving environment.Some hoods are in a style of a funny shape but the main function of it is a protector not to be looks funny.The thing to do is to use a dive hood that really fits your head.Because if you use a tight hood it will give you head ache while diving ,so meaning it will give you discomfrort instead of it will protect you.
