Dive regulators are used underwater so that the scuba divers can breath through it.It is also its function to regulate the flow of air from the dive tank pressure.It is designed to release air when you inhale from it and it stop when you exhale.Its design has been modified thoroughly from year to year to make it light and very handy.It has easy flow adjustment device nowadays,which can be adjust in shallower and in deeper dives.Long years ago some of these regulators are made of metalic second stage.Rinsing the regulators after every the dives is the best way to maintain its normal function other than have it serviced regularly.
